We have a diverse and extremely talented group of Physiotherapists that specialise in a variety of areas including Musculoskeletal Injuries, Joint Replacement Rehabilitation, Geriatric and Falls Education, Sporting injuries and General Wellness.

Nigel Friend
Nigel Friend
As the principal physio at the clinic, Nigel is a highly respected and knowledgeable
physiotherapist with over 30 years of experience in all areas of physiotherapy, specialising in sports and spinal, cardiothoracic, rehabilitation and geriatric care. He favours a hands-on approach to treatment including mobilisation, massage, electro therapy and dry needling amongst other things.
His treating skills and knowledge of anatomy have been recognised through his involvement with Melbourne University where he has worked as a tutor in the undergraduate Physiotherapy program.
Reza Fotoohabadi
Reza Fotoohabadi
Reza has over 30 years of diverse experience in physiotherapy including musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, sports injuries, pain syndromes, falls prevention and geriatrics. He specialises in Orthopaedics especially rehabilitation after joint replacement, Geriatrics and Sports Injuries. Since receiving his PhD from Melbourne University in the area of geriatrics, he now lectures in the physiotherapy undergraduate course at Latrobe University.
Jamie Tabacco
Jamie Tabacco
Jamie has a Masters of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Health Science (Honours). His approach to treatment consists of massage, mobilisation techniques and exercise prescription. Jamie is a firm believer in movement being the best medicine for treating injuries. He has worked with various sporting clubs over the past three years, gaining valuable experience in managing sports injuries and has a passion for working with individuals with sporting and work-related injuries in order to support returning to these activities. Jamie also has a strong commitment to working with individuals with disabilities, in particular those suffering from acquired brain injuries and young adults with physical and/or mental disabilities.
Jane Pettifer
Jane Pettifer
Jane is our Head of Administration, combining her background in finance as a qualified book keeper together with her love of interacting with people. She keeps our physios on schedule and the clinic running at peak performance.
Ruth Friend
Ruth Friend
Ruth oversees the business side of Warringal Physiotherapy, which allows Nigel to do what he’s best at; focusing on the care of his patients and the day-to-day running of the business.
Her background is in education and training along with business development and management.

As receptionist, Angelina enjoys getting to combine her business, legal and book keeping expertise with her love of meeting new people and patients.
